We're looking for an experienced software engineer who are also interested in leading high-performing teams. A successful candidate will have:

• a track record for high quality and impactful delivery demonstrating strong design skills and a passion for code quality
• true craftsmanship, who enjoys breaking down tough problems, as well as working with a team to deliver valuable solutions
• passion for producing quality code and dedicated to best practices such as automated testing, code reviews, continuous integration, and continuous deployment
• that they are an agent for change, constantly learning and seeking better outcomes
• skill at interacting and working with people in a proactive manner to mitigate key project technical risks and ensure quality

• Strong systems programming experience with focus in networking and routing protocols.
• Broad application programming experience with focus in C or C++ development.
• Highly proficient with Linux
• Acute awareness of and responsibility for how large-scale distributed systems are deployed and operated.
• Outstanding problem solving and trouble-shooting skills
• Solid foundation in Computer Science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, operating systems, object-oriented design)
• Excellent team player who enjoys a collaborative team environment

• 5+ years of relevant work experience in software development
• Has solid understanding of writing network services in C or C++
• Comfortable with Ethernet protocols and tools like tcpdump

• Python
• DNS, Whois, Internet protocols
• Conversant with Agile methodology
• Familiarity with delivering via continuous integration and continuous delivery systems
