Summary
Amcor Dryer Operators are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a Aggregate Dryer and associated conveying equipment in the drying process. Duties include start-up, operation, adjustment to proper parameters, and cleaning of the equipment and work area.
In addition, you will:
Meet established productivity goals
Identify and report safety, quality and efficiency concerns
Follow proper dryer operation instructions and procedures
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Set dryer parameters to dry aggregates into storage silos to meet production needs
Coordination of wet aggregates from storage bunkers to hopper via front end loader
Clean equipment and work area

Requirements/Education/Experience
High School Diploma or GED
A minimum of 1 year of experience with automation in a related position or industry
Forklift Certification Preferred
Work Environment
Constant work performed in a manufacturing facility with exposure to airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, forklifts and noise.
Physical Demands
Occasional ability to climb stairs and ladders
Frequent ability to lift and gather bags weighing up to 50 lbs.
Constant good manual dexterity, multi-limb coordination and stamina
