Job Description:

We are seeking an Information Security Analyst for the Information Security Department.


The Information Security Analyst will be accountable for ensuring Information Security guidelines and procedures are relevant and effective in addressing cybersecurity risk in an evolving technical environment. This includes security controls and processes to protect member data in cloud-based applications and data storage arrangements.

Highlights:



  • Report status of all activities and/or issues on current projects

  • Improve the information security posture of the enterprise by keeping team informed on risk areas

  • Provide expertise for security systems, industry best practices, and procedures to protect Credit Human’s enterprise network infrastructure and information assets from intrusion, virus and malware attacks, and unauthorized access

  • Provide efficient process of security services and modification of the services as needed and required

  • Protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of member data in accordance with NCUA rules and regulations

  • Analyze all information security related log files with appropriate tools and maintain archive for potential threat detection


Experience:


    Required



  • Previous work as an information technology systems analyst


    Preferred



  • Worked supporting many aspects of systems in a relatively complex data center environment


Education:


    Required



  • College degree in IT or related field of study


    Preferred



  • Cybersecurity degree


Licenses & Certifications:


    Required



  • Security+ Certification


    Preferred



  • CYSA (Cyber Security SA+), CISSP, or related certifications


Skills & Knowledge:


    Required



  • Experience updating and maintaining information technology systems

  • Strong organization and planning skills, with meticulous attention to detail

  • Customer Service skills, with a focus on educating users on the why each safeguard is in place

  • Experience with systems change management for data centers

  • Skills in using Systems Development Life Cycle


    Preferred



  • In depth knowledge and experience with network access control, intrusion prevention, and endpoint detection and response systems

  • Experience supporting incident response activities

  • Skilled at threat hunting by leveraging systems such as SIEM, NAC,DLP, NAC, and EDR

  • Experience updating and maintaining information security systems


Schedule:  Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-5:30 pm 


Level of Work: 2A
