As a Structures Test Engineer the individual will implement testing activities as assigned with an emphasis on structures. This may include collection and analysis of data by performing tests themselves, with the assistance of other technicians or engineers at the direction of the Test Manager or a Lead Test Engineer. These tests can include static and multifaceted strain data collection and analysis as well as the design, setup, and operation of endurance tests to determine life of structures based on design life criteria. They are expected to develop a very high degree of knowledge of stress, strain and fatigue in welded structures and castings. They should possess good data analysis skills and be familiar with all areas of CNH CE products developed at their site as well as an understanding of AG and CE products in general. The Structural Test Engineer is expected to cross-train in all areas of testing that are available at their site.

1. Conduct tests by keeping accurate records of activities, results, and test samples.
2. Collect and provide accurate, understandable, and technically relevant test data and data analysis reports.
3. Consistently follow & align procedures and methods at the site with global methods and best practices.
4. Support of the local Test Manager or Lead Test Engineer for program and non-program activities.
5. Stay current with product and testing technology and vehicle technology.
6. Identify and communicate key equipment or procedure needs.

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Agricultural or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.

2 years of hands-on testing or design experience
