The Business Systems Analyst II serves as a liaison between system end-users (customers), operational leaders, additional support resources and vendors while providing exemplary customer service and Epic application support in assigned the assigned module. The Business Systems Analyst provides go-live and upgrade support in addition to ongoing application support and optimization. They work closely with the Service Desk to assist in responding to service requests. The Business Systems Analyst II must be able to analyze business issues/requirements and workflows and apply their application knowledge to meet operational and organizational needs. The Business Systems Analyst II must be a self-motivated individual with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in team environments.
Analyze, develop, test, document, educate, implement, support, and maintain or optimize assigned applications, solutions and business processes to meet operational and technical requirements
Obtain and maintain in-depth knowledge of software functionality; acquire and utilize knowledge of operational workflows to be implemented
Perform in-depth analysis of workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical issues associated with Epic and 3rd party vendors
Translate business requirements into functional specifications and manages changes to specifications
Prioritize, coordinate, and implement updates and requested changes to the system; reviews and tests each new release; troubleshoots problems and questions from end users
Adhere to organization standards for system configuration and change control
Collaborate and develop strong relationships with end user communities, customers and business partners
Collaborate with Revenue Cycle Leaders to focus on standardized best practice workflow processes and content to ensure alignment across all ministries, to create efficiencies, and to ensure optimal revenue processes
Share industry best practices from vendors with Revenue Cycle Leaders
Demonstrate knowledge of revenue cycle practices and continuously seek opportunities to further knowledge
Facilitate communication with stakeholders from initial requirements to final implementation
Serves as a liaison between business operations and providers, internal information technology, system users and vendors working within the defined project objectives for issue and problem resolution
Troubleshoot and/or resolve application issues and escalate more complex issues as appropriate
Follows strict change management processes ensuring proper approval, testing, and validation of system changes
Provides incident and problem management support

Certifications or Proficiencies must stay current by maintaining new version training
3 + years of experience
