Operates tools and equipment for irrigation activities including digging holes, setting up sprinkler systems and general irrigation maintenance.
Maintain irrigation systems as assigned which may include sprinklers, water lines, pumps, and valves.
Inspect, adjust, and repair equipment as instructed or as needed.
Able to read and understand irrigation drawings, plans and as builts.
Ensure all company irrigation equipment and vehicles are operated and maintained properly.
Use of irrigation tools and equipment while adhering to all safety standards.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum of three years' experience in landscaping and irrigation systems.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to interpret policies, procedures, and regulations.
Ability to work as a team member.
Self-starter and ability to work with minimal direction and supervision.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Working Condition
Ability to pass criminal, drug, financial, and driving screening.
Possess valid driver's license and maintain good driving record.
Ability to bend, stoop, reach, lift move and carry materials and supplies weighing up to 60lbs and push up to 100lbs, prolonged standing and walking.
Finder dexterity is required to operate equipment.
Working in an outdoor area exposed to extreme heat or cold.
Exposure to dirt, pollen, chemicals, insects, and snakes.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule which may include weekends, overtime, and holidays.
Acquire and maintain security clearance.
