Under the supervision and direction of a registered nurse, the Home Health/Hospice Aide performs various duties assisting unit staff nurses and clerical specialists to ensure efficient unit operations and safe patient care following established procedures.
Requirements
Must be licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Certified Nursing Assistant
Home health/Hospice experienced preferred; at least two years of CNA experience required.
Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients assigned
Must be able to provide the care needed as described in the department's policies and procedures.
Must be able to independently drive to and from patient homes.
