Position Title:  Warehouse Operator - Integration (S2)

Position Summary


The Warehouse Operator is responsible for the administration of material logistics within the Crown Castle Fiber warehouse.  She/he will be responsible for ensuring timely turnaround on material requests and material receipts (both physical and within the Oracle accounting system).  The Warehouse Operator  will also be responsible for Inventory control and administration of periodic cycle counts in Crown Castle Fiber inventory locations. Position responsibilities involve continual lifting, lowering, and carrying packages that typically weigh 25 - 35 lbs. and may weigh up to 70 lbs.


Responsibilities



  • Receives inventory items via Financial / Accounting software suite (Oracle)

  • Physically locates inventory items

  • Receives non-inventory items per RMAs

  • Processes decommissioned inventory items returned from Network

  • Resolves receipt vs invoice conflict / discrepancies with AP

  • Processes small package and freight shipments thru shipping vendor's online portals

  • Maintains shipping log details in each transaction

  • Issues inventory items to projects manually or automatically in Financial / Accounting software

  • Stages, reserves, & allocates inventory items per system requests

  • Performs periodic cycle counts of inventory items

  • Performs annual Physical Inventory (PI)

  • Maintains and creates BIN designation inventory item storage system

  • Researches and resolves inventory variances

  • Operate Forklift in a warehouse environment to load/unload materials

  • Drive a company vehicle/pick-up truck

  • Deliver materials to field operations to field locations and support field as needed:

    • Minor temporary flagging if needed

    • Help load/unload material



  • Skid Steer -operate as needed to move materials in the field


Education/Certifications



  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or equivalent years of experience


Experience/Minimum Requirements




  •  Minimum five (5) years’ experience

  • Previous experience in a warehouse and or purchasing environment

  • Valid driver’s license


 


Other Skills/Abilities


 



  • Experience with inventory in the Telecommunications/ISP/Fiber Optic space

  • Strong MS Office and data entry skills

  • Oracle & JDE

  • Previous experience with Vendor online portals

  • Understanding of UPS/FedEx shipping software

Working Conditions:  Working Conditions: This role falls into our hybrid work model working in your assigned office approximately 60% of the time (3 days per week) and where you do your best work 40% (2 days per week).
