ICA is currently seeking a Spanish language Instructor. Preferably, the candidate should have at least three years of experience teaching the target language in a proficiency-oriented environment to adult students on an intensive basis. This is a full-time, hourly position held at the location of our client, The Foreign Service Institute.

• The training program will include homework activities and should focus on developing the language skills such as Speaking, Listening, Reading, Writing,


• Vocabulary, Grammar, Pronunciation, and Culture

Required Qualifications:

•  A minimum of three (3) years of experience teaching adult learners the foreign language they will be providing to FSI in a classroom setting (2 or more students).


•  BA/BS, MA/MS, or Ph.D., or foreign equivalent degree(s) in any field.


•  A minimum of three (3) years of experience teaching foreign languages with proficiency-based or task-based curricula.


•  A minimum of one (1) year of experience administering proficiency-based assessments (i.e., DLPT, ACT- FL OPI, etc.).


•  A minimum English proficiency level of 2/2 on the ILR proficiency scale.


•  Candidates must possess the cultural background of a specific country Rate and Benefits:


• Hourly rate: $45.02
