As a Mental Health Therapist with Options, you would experience working in an environment that includes:
General Description:
The Mental Health Therapist provides individual and family therapy to children and their families in an office setting. They may also provide case management and consultation with PCPs, schools, DHS Child Welfare and Self Sufficiency programs, and other community partners. Clients are self-referred or referred through partnerships with local schools/Head Starts, primary care physicians, hospitals, or ODHS Child Welfare or Self Sufficiency. Options accepts both commercial insurance and Oregon Health Plan.

Required Qualifications:
Masters or doctorate degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field. Must be able to qualify as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) and be eligible for registered internship or licensure in the State of Oregon. Knowledge and/or experience providing mental health services, including assessment and diagnosis, to children and families. Ability to incorporate child-based therapies into treatment is required, including comfort with treatment for toddlers through school-age children. Must be computer proficient. Must have respectful, open, accepting attitude toward clients and their families. Must be able to pass a DHS background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in play therapy, sand tray, or other child-based therapies. Knowledge of the impact of trauma and experience working with individuals and families from a systemic lens. Strong understanding of evidence-based practice and the role of feedback informed treatment. Experience with record keeping software preferred.

Non-Licensed Provider Entry Salary $46,200 to $56,700 DOE
Licensed Provider Entry Salary $54,600 to $65,100 DOE
Salary: $51,450.00
