Remote opportunities are available with a preference for candidates located near San Dimas, CA; San Antonio, TX; Nashville, TN; and Philadelphia, PA.

 In this rewarding role, as a Senior Financial Analyst you will:



  • Prepare and present monthly financial reports and analyses of key drivers of performance versus plan and forecast

  • Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual forecasts of key financial and non-financial metrics, business P&L, and relevant balance sheet items

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and measure the impact of potential risks and opportunities to business results

  • Lead/participate in the development of the annual operating plan including related analyses, business justification, and management presentation

  • Provide ongoing decision support to business partners through insightful, timely reports, and proactive cost management

  • Participate in business proposal preparation including development of pricing models

  • Develop/optimize tools and processes to improve efficiency, transparency, and compliance



  • Assist Accounting team in period end close process

  • Manage business hierarchy and financial information systems for planning and reporting.

  • Provide support on strategic projects (e.g. M&A) as needed

  • Help drive a strong culture focused on integrity, innovation, agility, collaboration, and commitment



  • Prepare ad-hoc reports and analyses as necessary

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned


Competencies:



  • Strong analytical skills



  • Extensive knowledge of Excel and other MS Office products



  • Extensive knowledge of accounting procedures and financial concepts



  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with ability to handle multiple projects



  • Excellent verbal and written communication



  • Ability to work in a team environment



  • Strong customer service skills



  • Leadership skills, with a positive/can-do/take charge attitude, and a sense of urgency


 


Ideally, you will have: (includes certificate & licenses)



  • Bachelor’s degrees from an accredited college in Business Administration, specializing in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience/combined education required.  



  • MBA, CPA, or CMA is a plus



  • 6 to 10 years of professional level experience in Accounting/Finance



  • Knowledge in the following is highly recommended:  Experience in ERP systems (Sage 100, Acumatica), Tableau, Power BI, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM)



  • Tableau or similar application experience is a plus

  • Advanced Excel knowledge required
