Unifi is looking for an experienced Above Wing Training Manager to join our team, reporting to the Director, Aviation Services Training. This is an opportunity to make a lasting impact on a growing company by managing Above Wing Aviation Training, Development and Compliance for our key business operations and customers. You will be responsible for creating and delivering innovative, high-quality training programs to advance the operational skills of our front line and throughout the organization. You will collaborate closely with our Learning and Development team as well as partners from across the organization to create and deliver best in class, industry leading training.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the Above Wing Aviation Services Training team to create, organize, deliver, measure and track job skills and compliance training across all contracts in the AW AOR. Establish and review metrics for training team to include, but not limited to: Net Promotor Score, Course, Compliance, Instructor Audits, Overseeing and managing regional training reporting.
Support a comprehensive Unifi aviation services training strategy, supplementing current systems and job skills training, ensure excellence those working in the above wing AOR are able to excel in the performance of their own roles, providing confidence and competency to parallel growth of our business.
Support incorporation of consistency in delivery and competencyof training/compliance into all programs and materials, ensuring AW unifi instructors and employees, are equipped to not only advance in their skills, but inspire our unique culture to lead the industry, providing facilitation excellence in a variety of formats and modalities.
Implement and excel in measurement and metrics, demonstrating the impact of programs on the overall success of Unifi ’s AW training program, establishing, and pushing team goals to model innovation and excellence in facilitation and delivery.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/ABILITIES
BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
8-10 years in Aviation Services and Management or related experience
Experience working closely with senior leaders, including top executives as well as the front line. Experience within the station environment to fully understand needs is preferred
Track record of delivering measurably successful programs
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment as part of a collaborative team, jumping in to help each other, and pivoting as needed
Evidence of ongoing personal and professional development (such as training, conferences, workshops, certifications, etc.)
Ability to formulate and execute comprehensive strategies/programs that will ensure consistency throughout the Company while ensuring a safe work environment
Proven ability to solve complex problems and influence people across all functional areas.
Outstanding facilitator and communicator; lead innovation by teaching, consensus-building, and project execution.
Solid decision-maker with excellent analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and be self-starting on tasks within area of expertise.
Strong technical and business writing skills
Proficient and experienced user of Office 365 apps/programs (Word, Power Point, SharePoint), including managing and manipulating data using Excel
