Job Description:

The Global Intelligence and Travel Security Operations Center (GITSOC) Analyst will be responsible for monitoring global events, accurately synthesizing emerging and developing information and communicating actionable intelligence. The Analyst will also contribute to travel risk and threat assessment products, intake emergency phone calls, and provide support during crisis situations. This position will have a hybrid work schedule (remote/client locations).

Essential Functions:


  1. Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.

  2. Continuously monitor worldwide events in real-time through internal and external tools and platforms to identify developing real or potential safety and security incidents.

  3. Serve as GITSOC's primary representative and point of contact for the company's security team, employees, and travelers during regular and non-business hours.

  4. Evaluate and assess identified incidents for real or potential impact to company personnel and assets.

  5. Synthesize data and compose accurate and timely communications, according to established procedures and templates, to notify relevant stakeholders (leadership, Regional Security Directors, employees, travelers, etc.).

  6. Support Regional Security Directors as instructed, including in crisis situations.

  7. Assist company personnel in identifying and meeting requirements, and obtaining proper permissions, for proposed travel to high-risk locations.

  8. Contribute to tactical and/or strategic threat assessments for locations or events.

  9. Serve as the main point of contact for the intake and escalation of safety and security incidents as reported by company personnel and assets.

  10. All other duties, as assigned.


Education, Experience, and Certifications:

Bachelor's degree preferably in international affairs or political science. In lieu of degree, three to five years of military intelligence experience or one to two years of security operations center experience in an intelligence-related capacity. Emergency operations center experience or intelligence analyst experience within a corporate setting preferred. Traveler tracking software experience and mass notification experience preferred.
