IT Sourcing Manager (Hybrid) at Pinkerton Consulting & Investigations, Inc.

Job Description:

The IT Sourcing Manager will be leading the development and day-to-day of IT supply base. This position must have expertise in procurement and contract negotiations for Information Technology categories of expenditure such as Application Development, Technical Consulting, E-Commerce, Enterprise Software, and Networking Hardware. This position will have a hybrid work schedule (in office/remote).

Essential Functions:


  1. Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  2. Support in determining user requirements, recommendations of practical solutions, and company-wide efforts to improve the cost-effective use of technology.
  3. Lead strategic projects of varying complexity including those focused on IT cost reduction strategies, IT process improvement, and controls.
  4. Manage sourcing initiatives involving contract development, negotiations, and supplier management.
  5. Analyze historical spend and extract potential sourcing opportunities for the business.
  6. Help to build and maintain a trusted relationship with business partners to understand business challenges and needs.
  7. Experience working in a dynamic, cross-functional team.
  8. All other duties, as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Certifications:

Bachelor's degree and 3-6 years of experience in IT purchasing & strategic sourcing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.

Competencies:


  • Experience working with major technology partners.
  • Understanding of IT protocols and guidelines; ensure that IT minimum standards are applied and properly documented.
  • Proven track record of collaboration across multiple IT organizations, business partners and stakeholders.
  • Effective problem-resolution skills.
  • Experience dealing with global teams is preferred.
  • Experience with database management is preferred.
