The Analyst- Strategy and Insights, will assist with the implementation and realization of strategy and objectives for the ASPIRA Fine Wine and Craft Spirits division of Constellation Brands. The Analyst will conduct fact-based and data-driven research to develop business cases and strategic options based on insights, developments, internal capabilities, and financial models. The individual will develop analytical models and presentations that influence our long-term growth plans, commercial strategies, and priorities.
Responsibilities:
Support the strategic planning process by developing and maintaining processes, timelines, collecting and synthesizing materials, and organizing busines needs; and with support of leadership, draft strategic planning timelines, communications, and objectives and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Develop approach, scope, work plan, and conduct analysis within division need
Evaluate market developments, M/A, and innovation and across all aspects of business (from operations to commercial execution)
Provide analytical support for US Wholesale Sales
Performing ad hoc analytics to support ASPIRA
Collaborate closely across the broader Strategy, Insights, & Analytics and other Cross-Functional teams to integrate various learnings into a holistic recommendation and develop best practices.
Work cross-functionally with both internal and external stakeholders to develop KPI and Incentive goals including execution metrics, exceptions process and necessary tracking
Develop and maintain an account segmentation strategy to increase efficiency of target account lists and global channel strategy
Ensure commercial plans are successfully integrated with key distributor partners
Refine strategic approach as portfolio and priorities evolve
Analytic support to identify high priority consumer, category, and channel trends
Analytic support to identify high priority categories and prospective companies to build investment pipeline
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
2+ years of analytical experience (may include an internship) that was focused on food and beverage retailing or merchandising, or sales experience from any industry.
Ability to build strong relationships, initiate action and adjust to change are key attributes of this role.
Expertise in translating results from advanced analytic modeling and analyses into insights and actionable recommendations
Demonstrated leadership in a cross functional setting across Sales, Marketing and Operations
Strong PC proficiency, including extremely strong PowerPoint and Excel skills.
Analytical problem-solving skills
Influencing others and successful navigator in a matrix organization
Ability to work independently and on a team with limited or general oversight
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent business orientation with understanding of the key drivers, issues, constraints, etc of the business
Microstrategy, Anaplan and syndicated data (IRI or similar) experience a plus
Budget management experience
Strong presentation skills
Ability to travel estimated 10%.
