The primary function includes contract management support.
This position will assist the Legal Commercial Team with management of contract requests and executed contracts. In addition, this position will respond to business stakeholders relating to contract inquiries and will run reports as needed.
This position will provide ad hoc project support to the Manager, Legal Operations.
Essential Functions
Contract Management Essential Functions:
Manages the Legal mailbox by reviewing incoming requests and assigning out to appropriate team members.
Maintains team’s work list with incoming requests and assignments.
Uploads executed agreements into TeamConnect, our contract repository, including appropriate metadata.
Responds to requests for agreements and questions from business stakeholders relating to TeamConnect.
Assists with training for business stakeholders for TeamConnect for searching contracts.
Assists with tasks for SOX compliance - removing terminated users from TeamConnect and providing monthly active user lists to IT.
Assists with report creation as needed.
Assists the Legal Team by setting up new vendors with Procurement and AP and requesting purchase orders, as necessary.
Demonstrates solid judgment and diplomacy when executing attorney requests, and when interacting with team members and senior management.
Assumes responsibility for maintaining the highest level of confidentiality of all financial and systems-related information.
Additional Responsibilities
Ad hoc projects for the Legal Commercial Team, including TeamConnect data cleanup for future transition to contract management solution.
Assist with drafting of template CDAs and contracts, as needed/trained.
Support Manager, Legal Operations with SOX requirement fulfillment on other systems, as needed.
Ad hoc projects to support the Legal Department.
Education
Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) in Accounting/Finance/Business - Preferred
Work Experience
1 year or more Experience managing a group mailbox. - Preferred
2 years or more Contract Management System (TeamConnect or similar) experience or, equivalent combination education and experience. - Preferred
2 years or more Experience in a corporate legal department or law firm, or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Preferred

The ideal candidate is professional, has superior attention-to-detail, and is able to both prioritize and handle multiple tasks at once in a fast-paced office environment. - Intermediate
The Legal Operations Coordinator is expected to perform all job duties with a commitment to providing superior service to clients and attorneys while producing a high quality work product. The ability to multitask and prioritize is essential. - Advanced
