Product Support Specialist

Hillyard, Inc. is currently taking applications for a Product Support Specialist. The individual in this position will be based out of St. Joseph, MO. The Product Support Specialist will work as a part of the Product Management team to manage the selection of current products and the potential approval for new products. The Specialist will be working directly with Account Managers and Operations personnel to help the identify products and vendors that are approved to sell. They will work with Product Managers on any new item requests and submit them for approval. In addition they will work with Purchasing to review existing sales and vendors to look for opportunities to consolidate. This position can be remote for a person with the right qualifications. The specialist will report to the Director of Product Management.

• Answer calls and emails from Account Managers to provide product support.
• Help the Account Manager find an approved product and any information needed for that product.
• Assist the Account Manager with gaining approval for a non-approved product if needed, including gathering information for that product or vendor and discussing with the appropriate Product Manager.
• Work with Purchasing to review existing non-approved sales and work to convert those items.
• Assist with product information and cleanup on the Ecommerce system
