Job Description

The Washington Post is looking for a junior assistant editor on the advice team in Features who will help continue to expand the reach of, and engagement with, The Washington Post's daily advice columns.

Duties include careful and thoughtful editing and producing of advice columns, managing recirculation efforts, working with other advice editors to help to shape the growth of the advice team, supporting the continuation of evolving growth efforts, production of live chats, and contributing to the launch and management of potential dedicated social media accounts.

The successful candidate will love learning new things and developing ideas that bring fresh perspectives to our coverage. This is a detail-oriented position for a self-starter who takes direction well.

This position is based in our Washington newsroom.
