MIM PE&C is seeking candidates to apply for the position of Investment Operations Analyst. MIM PE&C manages investments and client accounts across multiple investment programs that continue to grow and evolve. The candidate will be responsible for providing operational support to the investment, investor relations, and management teams across MIM PE&C's investment programs. The candidate will work with the team to meet all of its operational requirements in a timely and efficient manner while promoting an environment of compliance, efficiency, accuracy, quality, and control.

This position is responsible for all elements of operations, reporting, and administration for MIM PE&C senior loans. The candidate will work with other team members to maintain a scalable operations function that provides a high level of support to the organization. This team member will be responsible for the timely and accurate reconciliation of the administrator's books and records. This team member will also work closely with other internal teams to provide quarterly deliverables and other internal ad-hoc requests.

Individual Accountabilities:

Fund Operations/Reporting


  • Recording of investment allocations across client accounts.

  • Liquidity monitoring and cash planning for funding investment activity.

  • Cash and credit activity settlement and reconciliation.

  • Compilation and review of documentation to ensure allocation approval files are complete.

  • Recording of closing transaction details in MIM PE&C systems.

  • Communicating Senior Loan data across different MIM PE&C teams.

  • Monthly reconciliation of static data from our pricing vendor.

  • Preparation of quarterly portfolio summary reporting.

Ongoing Administration for the Senior Loan Funds


  • Monitoring 3rd party administrators booking of investment activity.

  • Escalating any ages cash rec breaks with custodians and/or agents.

  • Assisting with annual audit requests.

Job Requirements:


  • BS in Accounting, Finance, or a related major, with an advance degree or certification a plus (CPA, CMA, MA, MBA, MF, CFA, CAIA, CIPM).

  • 2+ years of professional experience in an alternative investment manager in an operational or financial support role.

  • An understanding of senior loan investments and more broadly defined debt instruments.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to articulate information and ideas effectively to clients and senior management.

  • Demonstrated experience building and maintaining effective business relationships at all levels, both internally and externally.

  • Must possess strong attention to detail, quantitative skills, and commitment to data integrity. Solid analytical and logic skills: ability to identify problems, isolate causes, and formulate/present/execute solutions.

  • Advanced computer skills (especially Microsoft Excel).

  • Responsible for successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously, able to prioritize work.

  • Self-directed, analytical and able to make sound judgments.

  • Able to work independently and as a team member effectively.
