Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Subject Matter Expert
Job Description
Provide subject matter expertise divining intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance requirements from 480th ISR Wing and AF DCGS units for Wing ISR Plans and Programming. Serve as the multi-intelligence subject matter expert in synchronizing and aligning operational requirements within set budgets based on Wing Commander Priorities. Provide ISR operations perspectives to the requirements process and capabilities assessments. Daytime hours.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide operations perspective to vet and validate requirements
Provide operations perspective to vet and validate proposed solutions and capabilities
Maintain requirements workflow process to include identification, staffing, tracking as well as updating currency of requirements
Assist XP leadership in compiling, maintaining, presenting, and aligning MYPEP initiatives with POM, APOM, UFR, and IMADS funding processes worked within XP
Provide SME inputs regarding the planning of and implementation of best practices programs that align with and support Wing Commander Priorities
Take part in all aspects of program planning process, including hosting VTCs, maintaining e-mail and phone correspondence with stakeholders, and providing updates to key staff
Write and deliver presentations and reports regarding requirements, proposed solutions, capabilities based on research and analysis of IC, USAF, Commercial and Service Labs tools
Provide SME support in an advisory role regarding data services and data eco-systems
Required Qualifications:
8 -10 years defense intelligence experience
Two years' experience with AF DCGS program
Knowledge of Multi-INT operations, data fusion practices
Ability to organize, collect, and interpret ISR operations-related data calls
Ability to function effectively on multi-function teams
Ability to communicate well in verbal and written formats
Desired Qualifications:
Associates Degree
Recent Multi-INT experience
Understanding of data, data management, and data services
Recent understanding of, exposure to, and experience with IC applications
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
