WE ARE SEEKING

HCI, LLC is currently seeking a fast-paced high energy experienced Business Development Manager with a strong supply chain management and construction background to fulfill a critical leadership role as a Business Development Manager. The person in this role needs to have a strong construction related supply chain management background coupled with extensive proven leadership and underground aerial construction experience. The successful candidate will be adept at broad quickly establishing high trust and credibility with key subcontractors and able to navigate the Telecom industry with ease and velocity.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Promote and secure business prospects in construction, telecom and related industries.

  • Pursue, establish and maintain subcontractor agreements and relationships.

  • Negotiates and secures subcontractor agreements, revisions, and additions and adherence by all parties.

  • Supports identifying future market trends, developments/product/service expectations and translates them into business growth opportunities.

  • Analyzes and builds different future scenarios to create new paths of business including timing and planning

  • Explores and supports acquisition and divestment projects

  • Willing to influence win, win outcomes with existing and potential business opportunities with subcontractors.

  • Orchestrate discussions with senior executives around their business needs.

  • Manage and maintain the team’s pipeline of interested prospects.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, subcontractors and customers.

  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

  • Organizational skills high level of detail orientation and efficient time management.

  • Stakeholder partnering including skills to collaborate effectively.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:


  • Bachelors degree in Business or related field required; Masters degree preferred.

  • Seven to ten years of experience as a supervisor, manager, or similar relevant position required.
