PLANT POSITION DESCRIPTION

                                                                                                                         

Position Title:  Filler Operator - Cup

Shift:  Red Nights 7p-7a

         

Full Time:

Department/Location:  Stephenville

     

Title of Immediate Leader:  Cream Cheese Team Leader/Team Advisor

    

Base Rate:  $19/hr

Reviewed by:  HR

Position Purpose: 

Act as filler operator. Ensures all areas are functioning as needed. Checks orders and assist with minimizing downtime. Performs other line duties as needed to ensure line runs accordingly. Perform other duties and help in other areas as needed. Works closely with TA/TL on operations of the line and equipment. Work with Leaders and fellow partners to ensure Food Safety and Partner Safety. Understand and execute standard operating procedures relative to position. Perform all PCP and CCP checks required for position. Follow reaction plan for Food Safety, Food Quality and customer requirement outages and by contacting TA/TL.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                   

Essential Functions:  

 Ensures correct form in fill cup.

Clears jams on the sealer.

Reads production order or follows oral instructions to determine cheese type, style and packaging material required.

Sets specifications as indicated by the product, package size and production order.  Operates switches on the control panel to start, stop, and fine tune the machine.

Observes operation of filler to detect and correct inconsistencies.

Periodically train operators on other shifts in the operation and preventative maintenance of fillers..

Occasional

Understands duties and responsibilities for fillers and can demonstrate proficiency in running the machine. Assist in operations as needed including  general sanitation and a portion of the QA responsibilities

Ability and willingness to interact in a positive, professional and team oriented manner with people at many levels and in many roles

Ability and willingness to lead and maintain an attitude of flexibility and cooperation in all interactions. May help on other lines as needed.

Assist in development and implementation of SOP’s, PCP’s and GMP’s

Educational/Experience/Skills Required:  (Minimum Level)

    Technical School

    Certificate/License

    Bachelor’s Degree

    Master’s Degree

EXPERIENCE:
