Job Description

This training position is responsible for conducting in-house training programs for Ent employees. The Operations Training Specialist will implement, maintain, and enhance employee-training programs to ensure employees acquire the knowledge and skills required to perform job functions effectively. Provide ongoing training support specific to organizational training needs and objectives.

Essential Funstion:


  • Under general supervision, conducts in-house training programs for service center staff to include Member Service Representative training, Member Relationship training, IRA training, Training Labs and customized training courses using a variety of instructional materials, participant materials, job aids and software programs to facilitate job skills development.

  • Responsible for preparation of class materials and coordination of training classes.

  • Monitors participant's skills development in the classroom to ensure transfer of learning. Provides feedback on the participant's progress to the participant and his/her supervisor.

  • Bank Secrecy Act: Remains cognizant of and adheres to Ent policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act.

Qualifications

Minimum Formal Education for this Position:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Education, Communications, or a related field.
Minimum Work Experience:

  • 1+ years' formal training and development experience. preferred

  • 1+ years' experience in a financial institution. preferred

Each year of relevant work experience may be exchanged for a year in a relevant degree program or vice versa. For example, a requirement of "Knowledge Consistent with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and 2+ years' of accounting experience? could be substituted for a High School Diploma and 6 years of relevant accounting work experience or a Master's Degree in Accounting and 0 years of work experience

Technical or Specialized Knowledge/Skills:


  • Knowledge and application of adult learning principles.

  • Communication skills including written, verbal and interpersonal are required with the ability to work with all levels of the organization.

  • High comfort level with public speaking.

  • Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple and diverse projects.

  • Ability to develop professional presentations

  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability and consistent, logical and effective decision-making skills.

  • Technical writing skills to include training manuals, memoranda, and proposals.

Certifications Required:
  • Instructional Design, Curriculum Development, or other similar certifications. preferred

Additional Information

The salary range for this position is: $43,160.00 to $56,659.20 (S13).

This position is eligible for our corporate bonus program based on company performance.
