As a(n) Software Developer Principal (AxiomSL) within PNC's ACFR organization, you will be based anywhere PNC has a location or remote.

The Liquidity Risk Management team in Business Technology and Innovation Group at PNC is dedicated to developing innovative technology solutions to support the Asset and Liability Management team at the Bank. The Software Developer Principal will work on data intensive Applications that support business and regulatory requirements related to Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR), Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR) and FR 2052a Regulatory Reporting. The role requires proficiency in designing and programming data intensive Applications on Oracle database.

General
• Aligns business strategy with software solutions.

• Formal experience in working in projects with a methodology (waterfall, agile)
• Banking and Regulatory Reporting experience with the FR 2052a, Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR), Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR)
• General knowledge of Banking, Financial and US regulatory environment

Technical

• 5-8 years of experience in AxiomSL platform and configuration with Controller View with very large data sets.
• In-depth understanding of key AxiomSL platform concepts, design patterns and best practices
• Intermediate level database design and programming skills – SQL PLSQL
• Intermediate level skills in data analysis and data modeling, preferably financial data for Liquidity Risk Management
• Experience with using R in AxiomSL would be advantageous.
• Working knowledge of ETL tools such as Informatica
• Knowledge and experience of data modeling and data warehouse concepts.
• Working knowledge of software design patterns and architecture
• Leads complex problem solving and provides technical guidance and support to colleagues and solution development.
• Proposes, designs & codes software solutions to address complex business needs.
• Oversees technical and procedural documentation as required.

Technical Troubleshooting – Knowledge of technical troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques, and the ability to anticipate, recognize, and resolve technical (hardware, software, application or operational) problems.

Work Experience

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 5+ years of industry-relevant experience. Specific certifications are often required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.

1. COMPENSATION

Base Salary: $65,000 to $187,450

Where a person is paid in the compensation range is aligned to their experience and skills. Placement within the compensation range is based on the specific role and the following factors:

– Lower in range –Building skills and experience in the job

– Within the range–Experience and skills align with proficiency in the role

– Higher in range –Experience and skills add value above typical requirements of the role

– Compensation Range may vary based on Geographic Location

2. INCENTIVE

Role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and individual performance.
