As a Engineering Manager Senior within PNC’s Lending Technology Organization. This is a remote position and can sit anywhere within the PNC footprint, except for Colorado, Hawaii or Alaska. There is limited expectation for regular in person, in office activities.

• As an Engineering Manager Senior within PNC’s Lending Technology department, you will be managing a team of resources supporting change activities on our Origination Platform used to originate 100% of PNC’s Mortgage and Home Equity loans. This position will focus on our Home Equity partnership and engage in significant effort for our business partners. You will manage a cross functional team of resources aligned to a business product line mission consisting of Scrum Masters, Business Systems Analysts, Software Developer and testing resources.

• A qualified candidate would have a strong management background and preferred to have Mortgage or Home Equity experience. This position will be directly interfacing with our business executives to ensure our teams are pushing forward prioritized initiatives, growing the business partnership, developing and strengthening internal teams and advancing our Agile development capabilities. The Home Equity team leverages standard Agile and DevOps development methodologies to develop within the Empower Loan Origination platform for PNC and custom .Net Angular development teams aligned to greenfield development outside of the Origination platform.

• The position will be remote, managing resources that are also geographically dispersed in and out of our corporate footprint.

• A qualified candidate should have management experience within the technology space and working knowledge of Agile development practices.

• A preferred candidate would have financial institution experience, experience with the Black Knight Empower Loan Origination System and experience managing Agile teams.

Work Experience

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree. Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable. Industry-relevant experience is typically 8+ years. At least 5 years of prior management experience is typically required. Proven leadership experience with a moderate to large scope of responsibility is required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
