Client has vacancies for several Programme Managers to manage the transition between Aftermarket logistics suppliers for our Civil Large Engine and Defense portfolios. This project will involve managing internal stakeholders as well as working closely with our chosen logistics partner to drive the transition programme and maximize the associated cost savings for Client
Client has vacancies for several Project Leads to manage the transition between Logistics suppliers for our Civil Large Engine and Defense products.
Responsibilities
The delivery of a transition plan to cost, specification, and time, for a defined package of work while operating to the Client Project Management processes.
Establishing, developing, and maintaining the documentation necessary to deliver each package of work and act as the Client focal point for all aspects related to the packages of work.
Provide any information necessary to key stakeholders to make management decisions. Candidates will need to be able to work with a wide variety of stakeholders and be expected to communicate at all levels and translate requirements into reality, working with the operations team to deliver their requirements to specification.
Creation and management of an integrated set of plans / schedules using the Client corporate planning tool (P6).
Scheduling, organizing and chairing review meetings and reporting on areas where executive decisions need to be made.
Skills
The candidates will have experience of global transport and warehousing change projects.
Ideally, a sound understanding of aerospace and airworthiness requirements with respect to moving and storing aerospace product.
The candidate will need to have an understanding of export control particularly in the UK, EU, US and Singapore contexts. They should have a basic knowledge of customs including import/export processes as a minimum.
Track record managing strategic change programs at a senior level.
The candidate ideally will be a member of APM or equivalent professional body.
