Senior General Accountant

As the Senior General Accountant you will analyze, reconcile and record monthly general ledger activity for various accounts; assist in the monthly compilation of internal financial statements for corporate management; assist in monthly, quarterly and year-end close processes; perform accounting functions for various subsidiaries and provide accounting support to international location; assist with various accounting projects.

You Will:

• Assist in the preparation of consolidated internal and external financial reporting


• Assist in the preparation of consolidating statements including the statement of cash flow


• Assist with various external reporting compliance requirements including SEC (10-K and 10-Q equivalents) and debt covenants


• Prepare technical accounting white papers through research and interpretation of applicable authoritative accounting literature under U.S. GAAP


• Prepare adjustments and reconciliations of hedging activities


• Prepare the reconciliation of equity including changes in accumulated other comprehensive income (AOCI)


• Prepare account reconciliations and analytical review of various balance sheet and income statement accounts.


• Preparation of working papers and footnote disclosures for quarterly reviews and year end audits


• Monthly reconciliation of intercompany balances (receivables, payables, etc.)


• Monthly reconciliation of bank statements


• Assist with monthly preparation of internal financial statements for corporate management


• Assistance with various bank reporting requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related degree


• 2+ years experience in public or corporate accounting


• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, accounting pronouncements, or governmental regulations
