Job Objectives:

As the Underwriting Administrator - Trade Credit, support the Underwriting Team by managing the underwriting process and working with the underwriting team members and other supporting groups, in the following manner:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Submission coordination in all underwriting systems

• Take submission in from UW – set up in Underwriting systems


• Co-ordinate with Ops for all reporting, invoicing and downstream requirements


• Maintain and update the active pipeline report from submission to binder


• Upload initial application information to Tinubu/CIS system

• Work with Underwriters to assist in general underwriting duties, including:
  
  
  • New business and renewal application processing
  
  
  • Pricing rater set up for Underwriting to process
  
  
  • Application processing and assistance in managing the underwriting process
  
  
  
  


• Coordinate the Binding and Policy Issuance processes


• Manage the documentation process for all Mid Term Transactions


• Maintain the Quarterly sales reporting and Year end Adjustment (YEA) tracking for all accounts


• Manage renewal Process – provide notices, application processing and set up of renewal files


• E-file management – uploading of required documentation


• Work with underwriters to ensure all documentation is filed appropriately for all submissions according to corporate and Underwriting Guidelines requirements


• Act as the Trade Credit point of contact for all ticket issues for the Tinubu underwriting system, work with underwriting team, IT and vendor to address issues as the arise and coordinate all follow up


• General support for the team by running reports, and special projects that may periodically  arise within the division

Requirements:

• 1-4 years of related experience


• Bachelor’s degree, preferred


• Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels of business, including interacting with staff and external business parties


• The ability to work independently and make business decisions as appropriate; must be comfortable and knowledgeable enough to do so


• Demonstrated skill in meeting deadlines and managing priorities  


• Experience in a professional services or financial services firm preferred


• Project management experience a plus


• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Teams


• Tinubu - Credit Insurance Systems or other underwriting/business systems experience a plus
