What you will do

At Johnson Controls you’ll be part of our diverse distributed team making an impact on our organization through your support of our Chief Financial Officer. Our Executive Assistant position will offer you the opportunity to partner with our most senior leaders and help support the vision of our organization.  We are looking for someone that is dynamic, experienced, customer-focused and has a great track record of success supporting projects, events and successful support of either C-Suite or Senior VP leaders.  It is an exciting opportunity and a great time to join us!

In this role, you will be the main support associate to our CFO.  You will need to be ready to showcase your C-level task management, planning and executive assistant experience.  You will be an integral part of our leadership team and will manage everything from helping to plan events, schedule appointments, arrange travel, participate in meeting recordings and provide a variety of other support services to our leaders.

How you will do it


  • Project Management:



    • Create PowerPoints for meetings and help to coordinate presentations for large scale meetings.


    • Manage and prioritize projects to meet the ongoing needs, including administrative support services such as budget administration, organization of company events, planning and coordination of multiple presentations, and maintenance of calendars.


    • Reporting administrative duties will be needed on an ongoing basis and




  • Travel and Event Planning



    • Coordinate all travel and travel expenses for the CFO and help to prepare event schedules and coordinate with parties as needed


    • Help to coordinate company wide events which involve heavy communication with internal customers




  • General Administrative Tasks:



    • Create general correspondence such as memos, reports, proposals, charts, tables and graphs.


    • Communicate with executive, administrative, and line management to gather and convey information pertaining to the executive team office and responsibilities.


    • Provide executive administrative support including submission of invoices, expense reports, other documentation, and records maintenance and retention as required by Johnson Controls legal.




  • External Customer Management:


    • Coordinate with firms, organizations and individuals from outside the organization.


What we look for
Required


  • Bachelor’s degree and 3 years’ of executive administrative support or 10 plus years’ of education and combined experience.


  • Experience supporting C-suite.


  • Demonstrated experience using a variety of computer software applications including Microsoft Suite (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint).


  • Effectively communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization.


  • Demonstrated ability to constantly maintain a high-level of confidentiality.


  • Where legally permissible, if hired, candidate is required to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 no later than his/her start date, unless candidate has a valid medical condition or sincerely held religious belief precluding he/she from receiving the vaccine.
