Job Description:

Are you a Registered Nurse that is passionate about Design and Site Development? We are seeking an operational and design focused RN looking to transition out of a clinical setting to become part of a planning and design team focused on building world class healthcare facilities. BSA LifeStructures provides operations planning services to ensure function and form unite. The firm’s experienced team of clinicians uses lean principles and tools to maximize operational efficiency and provides performance metrics to enable continuous improvement. Healthcare operations’ planning addresses the model of care, staff efficiency, workflow, safety and patient experience from the view of healthcare professionals who have worked and managed in the healthcare environment.

Our Healthcare Operations Planner will work from our Indianapolis studio. This position is a planning expert and resource responsible for leading clients and project teams to successful outcomes. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Subject matter expert to the firm.
  
  
  
  • Stay up to date on trends and planning/design/technology metrics knowledge; develop and deliver content.
  
  
  • Contribute to the development of research endeavors.
  
  
  • Share expertise through speaking engagements and publishing content.

• Client development and consultation.
  
  
  
  • Networking to develop healthcare client relationships.
  
  
  • Maintain healthcare client relationships as a trusted advisor.
  
  
  
  


• Creation, coordination and execution of planning content and deliverables.
  
  
  
  • Lead interdisciplinary planning and programming efforts on assigned healthcare projects.
  
  
  • Collaborate with project teams to lead planning concepts.
  
  
  
  


• Lead and support pursuits and proposals.
  
  
  
  • Serve as a healthcare planning resource to design professionals within the firm.
  
  
  • Pursue new projects and opportunities.
  
  
  
  

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities

• Mentor and develop Planning Designers & Planners and/or sharing planning knowledge with others in the firm.


• Augment the current knowledge base within facility planning and share this knowledge with clients, as well as internal colleagues throughout the company.


• Promote company reputation through good client relations.


• May be required to perform other duties as assigned.

Experience

Required

• 10 year(s): Experience in a healthcare environment.

Preferred

• Lean experience required (certification preferred).


• Previous healthcare leadership role preferred.


• Academic Medical Center or Ambulatory Care experience desired.

Education

Required

• Bachelors or better in Nursing

Preferred

• Masters or better in Health Administration or related field


• Masters or better in Nursing or related field
