Job Summary:



Performs final, in-process or receiving inspections, audits and other quality processes according to specifications and build requirements.



Principal Responsibilities:



  • May assist engineering with the review of customer, industry and other technical specifications to ensure compliance.

  • May perform root cause analyses by inspecting and evaluating material returns, reviewing documentation, assessing conformance to quality assurance standards to determine the cause of defects, malfunctions or process breakdowns.

  • Maintains data and logs data quality, returned material, supplier information, nonconformance to build procedures, errors, findings and recommendations to use for trend analyses.

  • Prepares required product return documentation to supplier for failure analysis and monitors corrective action response.

  • May coordinate or assist in developing and maintaining all International Organization for Standardization (ISO) system documentation, including work instructions and departmental policies and procedures.

  • Identifies, investigates, and participates in opportunities to improve processes and procedures, to include various key performance metrics.

  • backup for bin check which requires knowledge of product as well as lift truck driving capability.

  • ability to lift 40 lbs

  • Other duties as assigned.

Work Experience:



  • Typically requires a minimum of two years of related experience.




Education and Certification(s):



  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Position may require travel
