With the combination of new funding and current and new investment mandates, PGIM Agriculture Investments will soon be approaching $1 billion invested in Western United States agriculture.  PAI is seeking to expand the investment and asset management team by hiring an Asset Manager in our Fresno, CA location.

Your Impact:

Asset Management


  • Manage a select number of properties within the Western Region Portfolio, evaluate performance of each and determine how to make improvements and deliver strong returns to clients.

  • Prepare quarterly reports, annual business plans, and financial modeling for redevelopment recommendations.

  • Act as central point of contact in conjunction with farm management team with onsite managers, commodity processors, internal team members, and third-party vendors.

  • Assist with strategy development, crop operating budgets, capital improvement budgets, farm management agreements, crop insurance, and crop marketing for each managed property.

  • Visit properties regularly and review monthly financial reports to evaluate year to date performance for monthly operation reporting for senior management. 

  • Conduct various industry research and analysis projects including assisting with quarterly commodity marketing updates and annual commodity newsletter. 

  • Assist in client and prospective client meetings and tours as needed.

  • Participate in selected trade associations to develop industry market understanding.

Acquisitions


  • Assist the Western Region Head of Acquisitions with the acquisition of properties associated with the client of managed properties.

  • Participate in the business evaluation of properties and completion of due diligence process including on-site inspections.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with brokers and other market participants to assist with sourcing property acquisition opportunities for consideration within the region.

Qualifications:


  • 10+ years of experience in agricultural or real estate related field.

  • An undergraduate degree in Agricultural Economics, Real Estate, Finance, or a related field.  

  • A California Real Estate Sales or Brokerage license would be highly desirable.  

  • Unquestioned integrity.

  • Strong work ethic with a commitment to customer service

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, excellent presentation skills, and highly effective analytical skills.  

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Demonstrable knowledge of how property-level decisions translate into return performance for investors.

  • Personal Computer Skills (Advanced Excel and Word).

  • Proven ability to develop, cultivate, and manage high quality relationships with existing and potential clients, industry participants and colleagues.
