This Manufacturing role supports our CryoFlex product as well as the Mechanical Heart Valve assembly in a clean room environment. A Day in the Life
• Support day-to-day operations of these lines as well as identify continuous improvement projects.
• Interact closely with the Operations team as well as Quality, Supplier Quality, Reliability Engineering, and Regulatory Affairs.
• Utilize quality tools, DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control), and root cause investigation.
• Use various manufacturing systems to properly document changes or other actionable items.
• Lead failure analysis and issue resolution activities to ensure preventative action is accomplished.
• Resolve difficult problems that span a wide range of technical issues across functions.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and provide technical solutions via analysis and hands-on interaction with designated processes, including troubleshooting of manufacturing issues when they occur.
• Utilize project management skills to drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize yield, quality, cycle time and/or ergonomics.
• Support CAPAs (corrective and preventative actions) to resolve production and customer issues
• Interact with internal and external customers and vendors at various levels, including executive leadership, on significant issues.
• Participate in cross-functional teams.
• Identify and implement GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) to specific production area(s)
• Provide guidance, coaching, and training to other employees within the area

Must Have: Minimum Requirements


  • Bachelors degree required
  • 0 years of experience required

Nice to Have
• Experience in medical product manufacturing / assembly operations techniques and practices
• A degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, or Manufacturing Engineering
• Aptitude for quickly learning and simulating a broad array of information
• Data analysis skills, experience with the use of statistical tools in problem solving
