Position Title:

Equipment and Technical Support Specialist

Job Overview:

Equipment management in support of Demo and loaner cameras. Customer/technical support for Vision Research sales and cross-functional departments to ensure customer satisfaction and profitability.
Support for aftermarket sales opportunities as well as supporting proactive campaigns to existing customers with technical support and the management of Rental and Demo gear.

Reports to the Director Global Service & Support

Job Responsibilities:

The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


  • Sales channel and customer support activities.
  • Work collectively with team members to support service initiatives and improvements through projects and assignments.
  • Demo and loaner/rental inventory management and logistics
Required knowledge and skills:

  • Excellent communication skills and able to represent the Vision Research brands in a professional and support manner with customers.
  • 3+ years' experience in a role that is externally focused with end users and key customers supporting highly technical clients in a multi-tiered channel.
  • Proficient with Service Cloud and ERP
  • Effectively present and communicate information to customers in a professional and informative manner while managing expectations.
  • Customer focused and supportive of business growth.
  • Possess strong organizational skills.
  • Multi-task and handle the responsibilities in an environment with changing priorities with the ability to take on projects and manage and execute them to help develop the Service and support organization in a successful and positive manner.
Education:

  • BS/BA or equivalent work experience
