A Mortgage Loan Officer is responsible for origination of residential mortgage loans as well as lot, construction, and bridge loans. Conducts initial pre-qualification interviews and prepares complete loan application packages and necessary documentation. Convey policies for extension of credit in accordance with Credit Union and secondary investor guidelines. Meet Mortgage Loan scheduling and documentation requirements, and production expectations as determined by the Regional Mortgage Sales Manager. Establish prospective relationships outside the office as well as serving existing Members, builders, developers, and Realtors promptly and professionally. 

 

Work Schedule:

Full-time, Monday – Friday from 8:30 AM – 5 PM with additional weekend and evening hours as needed.

 

Required Education/Experience/Skills:

• 
  High School Diploma or equivalent.
  


• 
  Minimum of two years’ experience working in Mortgage Loan Origination utilizing technology to originate the loans and using digital documentation.
  


• 
  Communicate and live RCU's core purpose and values, these define and drive our organizational culture.
  

 

Preferred Education/Experience/Skills:

• 
  Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or Management.
  


• 
  Five years Mortgage Loan Origination related experience.
  


• 
  Sales experience with growing and developing sales strategies.
