Location: Peabody, Massachusetts
Under the supervision of the MRI Site Supervisor and/or Chief Technologist performs a variety of duties necessary for the smooth operation of the MRI scanner and patient schedule. The Staff Technologist utilizes all their technical skills and training to ensure the safe and accurate operation of the MRI scanner.
Qualifications
Required Must have excellent communication skills. Must be self-motivated and have ability to work in a healthcare setting. Must have basic computer skills, including knowledge of the Center's Outlook electronic communication system. BLS Certification.
Required Experience with PACS systems.
Required Minimum of Associates Degree in Radiology or an accrediated MRI Certificate Program.
Required Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). MRI Certification required within 12 months of hire.
Preferred Radiologic Technology Licensure in the state of Massachusetts.
Preferred Experience in an MRI setting.
