Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the pickup and delivery of parts, inter-office mail, attachments, and supplies. Safely operate and maintain company vehicles.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:


  1. Properly and safely load and unload the delivery vehicle at the remote locations and parts distribution center.

  2. Check at each store what is to be loaded and unloaded with help from parts personnel.

  3. Inform store of arrival and departure.

  4. Check the condition of items being picked-up or delivered and alert the parts manager or parts distribution center (PDC) manager of any irregularities.

  5. Adhere to the shuttle schedule, but in so doing follow all safety rules, speed limits, procedures, and practices.

  6. Communicate directly with parts and parts distribution center personnel regarding any discrepancies or corrections to documents pertaining to pick-ups and deliveries.

  7. Keep all assigned vehicles in good condition and appearance. Report any needed maintenance to the parts manager, at the location from which they are based or the PDC manager.

  8. Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to company safety program at all times.

  9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience: Individual should have a high school diploma or its equivalent. Should be able to set work priorities and work independently in the absence of supervision and be able to understand and carryout oral and written directions. Individual must have the ability to maintain high degree of motivation in team members to retain the focus of providing the highest level of customer satisfaction.

The individual should have minimum of 6 months of related experience, steady work record, and must be able to perform each of the essential position functions.
