Job Description



Primary Function of Position:


Intuitive (ISI) has established the preeminent position in surgical robotics. With the addition of Orpheus Medical to the team, Intuitive robotics customers will be able to capture video and images to share and collaborate details of each procedure.


We are seeking a Project Manager to support the scheduling and implementation of the image and video capture functionality. The Project Manager will serve as an interface between the customer and Intuitive implementation teams to schedule, coordinate and drive cross-functional implementation activities to ensure the success of clinical video and image capture



Roles & Responsibilities:



  • Responsible for the scheduling, planning, timeline, and on-time execution of the Orpheus solution

  • Coordinate the activities of customer and Intuitive project teams to implement new installations, expansions and upgrades

  • Set up and lead the project team to ensure the system is implemented according to the established process and standards.

  • Ensure Quality system and Project documentation is completed; contribute to process improvements.

  • Provide clear communication to customers and the organization on project status, critical path, issues and potential areas of risk.

  • Support customer clinical and IT teams to initiate, plan, schedule, implement, and close projects on time and on budget.

  • Coordinate implementation staff scheduling and hardware delivery



Authority



  • Manage the relationship between Physicians, Clinical Staff, IT and Intuitive teams to manage project deployment

  • Act as a liaison between the customer and internal teams to ensure smooth, on time delivery of the project, communicate project status, and escalation of issues to the leadership teams.

  • Assemble and organize multi-functional project teams to establish scope, schedule, assign tasks, and track completion


 


Qualifications



Qualifications and Education Requirements



  • Minimum 3-5 years project management experience implementing clinical IT products.

  • Planning, scheduling, and logistics management across multiple projects.

  • Demonstrated experience working clinical staff and IT teams to deliver a comprehensive solution.

  • Able to effectively coordinate multi-functional teams.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive task completion, hold team members accountable, and identify potential issues before they occur.

  • Preferred Skills

  • Medical Imaging experience

  • Clinical degree, certification, or equivalent experience (RN, RT, MT etc)

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or eligible or certification

  • Working knowledge of clinical workflow in surgical procedures

  • Additional Notes and Physical Requirements

  • Able to lift 50 pounds

  • Comfortable working a flexible dynamic schedule
