Summary of Role:

Creates assignments under direction of manager to promote the breadth of the Association’s value propositions and product offerings. Collaborates with content strategist, designers and writers to follow productive final workflow and deliverables meet established go-to-market strategies and brand attributes. Adheres to brand expression and technical specifications for quality of assets including digital, social, print, broadcast, dimensional, presentation and events

Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

General


  • Be the Senior Specialist for our recordings and global webcast programs

  • Have an operational to expert level understanding of studio hardware & software used in all our locations

  • Fix, install, and troubleshoot studio equipment and software as needed

  • Train other staff in studio operations

  • Grow and maintain studio freelancer list

  • Oversee and direct hired freelancers during productions

  • Work with the Senior Multimedia Managers to ensure studio capabilities stay aligned with the Association production strategy

  • Collaborate with all content team and business owners to determine production needs and objectives

  • Create assigned production for all stages of the multimedia design process to deliver content through production. Provide expertise during creative collaboration of high priority programs, from conceptualization, Record and/or edit video programs within Adobe Creative Cloud through distribution; continually position team as expert, go-to resource for all multimedia solutions.

  • Oversee sound design including the sourcing and recording of diverse voice-overs, music and sound design to produce sophisticated sound design

  • Complete all projects within estimated timeframes, budget constraints and monitor quality control measures.

  • Ensures processes and procedures, proper resolutions, formats, etc for different programs types required are met as they relate to design and production.

  • Works toward a positive borderless culture and looks for opportunities to build relationships, improve process and add technology that add value, agility and cost effectiveness.

  • Track video/multimedia program analytics and performance and provide reports, as needed

On Site Events


  • Travel to events to provide production support as needed for


    • Live recordings (videos, podcasts, etc)

    • Live webcasts

    • Live events (conferences, keynotes, etc)



  • Collaborate with conferences team, Hotel/AV contacts, and clients to put together production plans

  • Work with colleagues and freelancers on site to execute the production plan

  • None

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:


  • Expertise in all phases of multimedia production, live direction and webcasting.

  • Working knowledge of cameras, lighting, and/or audio gear

  • Ability to operate and maintain studio gear & equipment. 

  • Keen eye for creative detail and technical accuracy

  • Proficient in the following software: Final Cut Pro (Studio & X), Adobe Premier (CC), Preferred experience with After Effects (CC), Photoshop (CC), Media Encoder (CC), Compressor, DVD Studio Pro, FTP Client(s), Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel

  • Demonstrated ability in storytelling – developing programs from transcripts and original scripting

  • Experience with non-linear editing

  • Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills

  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skill

Required Experience, Qualifications & Education:


  • 5+ years experience in multimedia production or equivalent to completion of an Associates degree from an accredited institution.

  • Fluent in English. 

  • Ability to work in a global network of strategist, writers, designers and freelance talent

  • Studio Production - Cameras, lighting, backdrops, micing, etc

  • Live Webcasting

  • Proficient in Adobe Create Cloud, Mac OS, Windows, Office, Wirecast, and other studio/production software

  • Operational to expert knowledge of video encoding for webcast/broadcast

  • Operational to expert knowledge of signal distribution and conversion equipment and workflows

  • Operational to expert knowledge of studio networking (connecting studio equipment to other hardware, computers, etc)

  • STRONG technical and troubleshooting skills

Preferred Experience, Qualifications & Education:


  • Audio mixing and routing experience strongly preferred


    • Dante network creation and maintenance especially



  • Experience with Webcasting and encoding software

  • Experience with podcasting editing, production and promotion

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
