The Marketing Manager is an entry level management role that supports driving operational success in the retail environment by assisting with onsite marketing functions. This role contributes to the total asset value creation working in partnership with the Center’s General Manager (GM) and other internal teams.

In this role, your main missions are:


  • Support delivery of the day-to-day marketing and operational objectives in accordance to established metrics and standards.

  • Hands-on execution of strategic marketing and operations objectives.

  • Development and implementation of the Center’s annual Marketing Action Plan (MAP) to include local execution of national programs, local marketing platforms, and Center positioning within the market.

  • Creation, management, and tracking of the Center’s annual marketing budget and spend.

  • Enhance retailer relations by establishing and maintaining a through understanding of the retailer business and frequent in-person interactions with local teams.

  • Management of the Center’s online retailer communication platform, URW Connect.

  • Implement and deliver on plans aimed at driving additional traffic and sales to the Center, with focus on new openings, retailer offers, and Center events.

  • Create, discern, and evaluate presentations, recaps, and other documentation with a business and marketing-driven focus.

  • Lead and drive implementation of the Center’s Signature S.T.Y.L.E. program.

  • Champion the Center’s customer journey. Become the voice of the Customer to drive generation of customer insights and translate into actionable, relevant plans and programs.

  • Develops as an ambassador and representative of the Center, supporting local community/non-profit outreach and service provider partnerships.

  • Solicit and encourage retailer participation / support and integration to marketing programs as an effort to promote their business and add value to the overall Center marketing plan.

  • Support the Shopping Center Management team with operational duties including manager on duty responsibilities.

  • Work collaboratively and autonomously on multiple projects simultaneously with local, corporate, and external partners.

  • Ensure optimal performance and full compliance with health, safety, labor, and environmental regulations.

  • Manage corporate Shopping Center policies and procedures as related to both back and front-of-house operations. 

  • Work in partnership with Facilities, Security, and Risk Management teams and programs.

  • Business/Real Estate Knowledge/Experience

  • 2 years of experience in shopping center/retail/property/hospitality management level roles.

  • Demonstrated knowledge and interest for real estate and/or retail development, leasing property management operations.

  • B.A. or B.S. degree or equivalent

  • Bilingual language skills in English and Mandarin highly preferred
