ASE is seeking an experienced  Facility Planner to support the DOE National Training Center.  The Facility Planner oversees and performs preventative maintenance tasks, and light duty construction. 

The Facility Planner Oversees NTC Preventative Maintenance to include: physical structures; plumbing systems repair; all aspects of HVAC operation, including: Chillers; Roof Top Package Units, Heat Pumps and Split Systems; electrical distribution and other various building systems.

  • Assists in the formulation and implementation of safety policies and procedures related to the daily operations of the facilities.

  • Provides input and regular communication the Facilities Department Manager on repairs, projects, operational and capital expense budgeting.

  • Assists in required daily, weekly, monthly, semi-annual, and annual required building inspections, and institutes required corrections and/or Preventative Maintenance systems and schedules as needed.

  • Works with subcontractors and vendors as required to carry out the various responsibilities of such 3rd party services. 

Minimum Qualifications: 


  • Minimum two years of recent directly related experience

  • Experience in a  facilities management and maintenance operations role, with technical skills in trades such as HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, snf /or general maintenance

  • Demonstrated knowledge of  required safety protocols

  • Strong customer relations and communication skills 

  • DOE NTC experience desired 




You must be able to meet all health requirements, including but not limited to, current and future vaccination requirements for infectious diseases such as COVID-19.
