Position Description: The Inspector position performs final inspection of finished product and records quality results under the supervision and direction of the Quality Manager.
Position Requirements:
•Demonstrate the ability to communicate in English verbally and written.
•Demonstrate the ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications as applicable.
•Completes all necessary inspections of product by utilizing inspection equipment, inspection techniques, specifications, blue prints, and customer purchase order.
•Read and understand material specifications and be knowledgeable of sampling requirements per quality procedures.
•Familiar with Chemical Processing
•Understanding and utilization of ASNE Y14.5 geometric dimension and tolerance principles.
•Issuance of certificate of conformance and perform necessary computer transactions using Oracle system.
•Communicate defective material to team lead, production coordinator, and/or Quality Manager.
•Segregate defective material awaiting review and disposition.
•Ensure inspection equipment is functional and calibrated.
•Maintains part integrity throughout entire process.
•Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department team lead.
•Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.

The employee is required to walk, stand, kneel, carry, straight pulling, push, reach above shoulders, and repeat bending. The employee must frequently lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds. The employee must be able to stand for at least 10 hours per day. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Manual dexterity required.
