The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Regional Product Specialist for Adhesive & Tapes Applications you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

Here, you will make an impact by:


  • Being accountable for the Adhesives & Tapes Portfolio forecast attainment within the Northern California Zone, Industrial and Safety Market Center.

  • Leading collaboration with local industrial customer sales specialist team to execute IATD key growth initiatives and strategies.

  • Developing customers and application processes to drive growth of the Adhesives & Tapes portfolio

  • Collaborating with Industrial Adhesives & Tapes Division marketing, technical service and leadership team to drive growth programs in the zone.

  • Supporting ISMC National Account Team on strategic IATD growth initiatives

  • Understanding pipeline opportunities, strategic planning for new opportunities and regular business reviews relative to key markets and end-user customers in the region.

Company Vehicle

This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position (if applicable)

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution

  • Three (3) years of selling Adhesives & Tapes in a private, public, government or military environment

  • Current, Valid Driver’s license

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:


  • Expertise in Adhesives & Tapes portfolio and systems.

  • Experience with Adhesives & Tapes specific industrial safety regulations.

  • Experience in managing key accounts.

  • Experience in contract negotiations.

  • Strong track record of collaboration.

Location: San Jose, CA

Territory" Remote Based – Bay Area

Travel: May include up to 40% domestic in zone

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized
