What you will do
Provide L2/L3 support for US Signal Team receiver and signal processing equipment
Maintain and maximize uptime (>99.999%) for all life-safety environment
Develop and engineer internal improvements and achieve high customer satisfaction
**This is a hybrid-remote role - you work 2-3 days a week in the office and the remainder from home**
How you will do it
Ensure system uptime and availability
Ensure rapid-response on-call services
Provide Level 2/3 technical support for US Signal equipment
Manage new software updates and enhancements (patch/upgrades)
Provide applications assistance to technical teams and the business
Perform build or expansion of signal hardware/equipment
Communication on trouble resolution
Document product build/change
Partner with business on future business needs, strategy, planning
Document and solution enhancement requests (liaison to supplier)
Apply years of experience and best practices to maintain receiver and signal processing equipment at a subject matter expert level
Contribute to development and execution of strategic plans as a highly skilled team member
What we look for
Required
US Citizen
Deep knowledge and several years of experience with MASterMind Monitoring, and/or other industry specific monitoring systems.
Deep knowledge and several years of experience with industry standard receiver equipment (Bosch, DMP, Sur-Gard, DSC, etc.)
Deep knowledge and several years of experience with IT systems and concepts (network, hosting, storage, scripting)
Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
Superior problem assessment and troubleshooting skills
Strong communication skills and the ability to present technical topics to vendors, team members and non-technical audiences
Ability to work as part of a team and to interface with other teams as needed
Strong service attitude and a commitment to quality
5-7 years of experience in the design, deployment and maintenance of complex signal processing environments
Ability to work on-call weekly rotations

Preferred
Four (4) year degree of equivalent
Certifications for relevant technologies (CCNA, MCSE, etc.)
