Install, repair and service electrical components of industrial electrical panels, transformers, equipment and wiring with 110/240/480 systems
Troubleshoots and repairs electrical and electronic systems of company equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance according to manufactures or CAID’s recommended schedules.
Maintain Maintenance logs.
Assist/ performs installation of new equipment.
Performs repairs in designated facilities when time permits.
Follows all mandatory safety procedures including, but not limited to Electrical, LOTO, Fall Protection and HazCom; responsible for reading, understanding and knowing safety items outlined in the CAID Safety Manual.
Responsible for managing company/ personal tool box under his/her control and employ.
Other functions as needed/ assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
110/240/480V experience, including panels, transformers and wiring
Ability to read and understand schematics, blue prints, and other technical documents
Have knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipment; Must be able to operate tools in close proximity to electrical components
Able to troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems on equipment
Must be able to differentiate electrical wiring colors
Knowledge of VFD’s and PLC’s Preferred
Have knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics and how the systems interrelate
Must be willing and able to perform the physical demanding tasks such as lift heavy objects, crawl, climb and stand for extended periods of time
Willing and able to learn, acquire, and use new skills that serve the needs of the position and department
Knowledge of the electrical systems of the following equipment is a Plus: Overhead and Job Cranes, Air Conditioners and Compressors Welding Machines, Vehicles, Forklifts, Yard Cranes, Press Brakes and shears
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Lifting to 50lbs
Must be willing and able to perform the physical demanding tasks such as lift heavy objects, crawl, climb and stand for extended periods of time
Handling and moving objects- Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials
Must be able to climb ladders or make use of a lift

Manufacturing environment: May be exposed to loud noises, changing temperatures, machinery with moving parts, and exotic materials
