Description:

This position will report to the AVP Financial Reporting Manager in the Commercial Insurance DFO Department and join the Data Analytics team. Support and enhance existing Qlik Sense applications based on end-user requirements. Develop new data models and Qlik Sense dashboards in support of the Premium and Expense Finance teams, as well as Commercial Insurance Home Office and Field Underwriters. Data modeling will support Premium Planning and Forecasting, Expense Analysis and Forecasting, Advanced Business Intelligence analytics for Premium and Expense analysis and Scorecard Development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and optimize data models in Qlik Sense for Premium and Expense Applications


• Collaborate with DFO Premium and Expense Finance Teams to develop Qlik Sense solutions for accurate, sustainable and repeatable analyses


• Maintain and support BAU requirements for existing Qlik Sense BI Dashboards


• Liaison with Chubb I/T in Peer Reviews, UAT Testing and publication of Dashboards to Production Environment

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field


• Qlik Sense/BI development experience with end-to-end solution delivery of Data & Analytics applications (3+ years)


• Strong Data Modeling Experience Required (5+ years)


• Strong SQL query skills


• Data Visualization, Data Analysis and Application design experience (3+ years)


• Business Acumen, Financial and Insurance Knowledge strongly preferred


• Strong communication skills and ability to work individually, as well as in a team environment
