Associate Finance Director – Supply Chain Manufacturing - Kimberly-Clark North America (KCNA)

We are currently seeking an Associate Finance Director – Supply Chain Manufacturing to support the Kimberly-Clark North America (KCNA) Manufacturing organization. This position is a key thought leader and strategic advisor in helping the Vice President of KCNA Manufacturing accelerate realization of savings, drive continuous improvement efforts and step change efficiencies which will allow KCNA to fund innovation and deliver high quality products at the right price, on time, every time. 

The Associate Finance Director plays a critical role in driving the overall success of the KCNA Supply Chain business by turning information into analytics and insights and will work closely with multiple senior leaders to influence and drive impact. The applicant should be a thought leader and able to identify opportunities and solutions which deliver on business objectives.

Organization

The Associate Finance Director – Supply Chain Manufacturing reports to the Director – Supply Chain, KCNA and is based in Neenah, WI.  Key customers include:


  • Vice President – Manufacturing (KCNA)

  • Plant Managers and Plant Finance Managers

  • Supply Planning Organization

  • Cost of Sales and FP&A Teams – Corporate and BU

  • Cost Transformation Leaders (across all KCNA businesses)

  • Brand Finance leaders and team members (across all KNCA businesses)

Key Responsibilities 


  • Partner with the VP of KCNA Manufacturing to advance the KCNA Supply Chain strategy, leveraging standard practices and processes to drive end-to-end supply chain integration.

  • Actively participate in building and executing supply chain manufacturing capabilities, business strategies, objectives and plans. Shape, coordinate, and drive delivery of projects/initiatives as required by the Vice Presidents of Manufacturing and his/her deputies.

  • Apply financial concepts in an end-to-end business context covering manufacturing capacity planning and asset utilization, capital planning and investment and ROI across our entire mill network.

  • Overall ownership of KCNA plant manufacturing forecast and actuals results process and governance.

  • The role will provide direct coaching, leadership and direction to the Plant Finance Mangers (10 direct reports ranging from Associated Finance Managers to Associated Finance Director).

  • Valued partner within KCNA cost transformation program working closing with the plant manufacturing teams to drive and optimize manufacturing cost savings.

  • Provide management with financial advice and counsel on all pertinent business matters by supplying ongoing, timely, and meaningful financial analysis of actual performance, business plans and other discreet projects including investment analysis for manufacturing projects.

  • Ensure application of efficient and effective financial and operating controls. Promote sound internal control programs and support the Corporation's requirement for strong central financial control.

  • Work closely with key stakeholders and secure organizational alignment to ensure successful change management and implementation.

  • Provide a source of business knowledge and problem-solving capabilities to assure sound analyses, recommendations and actionable programs arise across a wide range of business or financial opportunities (strategy development and execution, cost transformation, investment analysis, cost to serve and inventory management).

  • Advocate LEAN business practices, driving out waste in business processes using LEAN problem-solving tools and practices.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field

  • 12+ years of progressive financial leadership experience in brand, manufacturing, and operational Finance with a consistent record of influence and impact

  • Well-versed in the principles and practices of finance and accounting to ensure that procedures, instructions and practices within the unit provide adequate internal financial control and are in conformance with corporate accounting and financial control policies and instructions

  • Demonstrated experience as a talent developer with the ability to inspire, engage and empower a team to deliver their best while leveraging differences.

  • Demonstrated organizational skills to manage functional workload, multiple priorities, and competing time demands

  • Strong oral, written and presentation skills to deliver effective, confident and results-oriented communications and presentations

  • Advanced computer skills using Excel and PowerPoint to prepare communications, financial spreadsheets and presentations

  • Strong business judgment, problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Strategic thinker who is willing to operate outside their comfort zone and has the courage to challenge the status quo

  • Demonstrated leadership skills to drive change cross-functionally

  • Exceptional ability to influence without authority

  • Master’s degree in Business
