Job Description Summary

We are looking for a Marketing Intern for the Summer 2022. Our paid internship program provides a rich and rewarding hands on learning experience and the opportunity to make a contribution to our organization. Our interns work under close direction of an experienced supervisor/manager. 

Requirements/Competencies

• This individual will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks and will leave the internship having gained broad marketing and communications experience


• Support marketing requests from all lines of business


• Assist Marketing Representative with the creation of content for social media platforms, mobile applications, and newsletters


• Candidates with experience using Adobe Creative Suite will have the opportunity to create graphics for digital signage, social media and other marketing materials


• Assist marketing representative in the creation of newsletters


• Provide general support on projects and tasks as needed


• Assist with setting up community and volunteer events


• Take videos and pictures of company projects and events

 

 Qualifications

• Demonstrate outstanding verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal and follow up skills.


• Excellent organizational and time management skills


• Must have great attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft products including Word, Excel, Windows, PowerPoint and Outlook


• Photo and video editing experience a plus


• Regular and predictable attendance at assigned times is required

Education/Experience

• Pursuing a degree in communications, marketing, business or other related area
