To assist the Procurement department with their daily activities and projects. Work with the Procurement Team to ensure that the goals and objectives of the department are achieved.
Primary Duties
Organize and issue Request for Quotations (RFQs) to the supply base
Purchase order data entry and follow-up
Assist in reconciling Procurement Match Errors (PME’s) for correct pricing and proper receipts
Master Data Analysis (Vendor, Materials and Services)
Support in contract management tool
Participate in assigned projects for procurement processes improvements
Track & report cost savings
Maintain adherence to procurement policies and procedures
Support and maintain key Procurement KPI’s
All other duties as assigned
Qualifications Required
Working toward a bachelor’s degree in Supplies Chain, Business, Finance or a related field
Proficiency in Microsoft office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Ability to work in a team environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
This is a part-time role and it is expected the incumbent will work approximately 20 hours per week.
