Job Description:

Purpose:


To assist the Procurement department with their daily activities and projects. Work with the Procurement Team to ensure that the goals and objectives of the department are achieved.


 


Primary Duties



  • Organize and issue Request for Quotations (RFQs) to the supply base

  • Purchase order data entry and follow-up

  • Assist in reconciling Procurement Match Errors (PME’s) for correct pricing and proper receipts

  • Master Data Analysis (Vendor, Materials and Services)

  • Support in contract management tool

  • Participate in assigned projects for procurement processes improvements

  • Track & report cost savings

  • Maintain adherence to procurement policies and procedures

  • Support and maintain key Procurement KPI’s

  • All other duties as assigned

 


Qualifications Required



  • Working toward a bachelor’s degree in Supplies Chain, Business, Finance or a related field

  • Proficiency in Microsoft office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

 


This is a part-time role and it is expected the incumbent will work approximately 20 hours per week.
