YOUR ROLE
Assists the Global IT Category Team Lead to develop strategy for the entire Category and to define execution modalities
Ensures full documentation and traceability
Delivers bottom line results managing and owning spend according to yearly planning and upfront savings targets and KPIs
Establishes close collaboration with Henkel IT and Digital Transformation Teams both in the NA Region as well as globally, fully aligning and driving Digitalization goals and objectives.
Gains and documents sustainably total value chain, industry and supply base insight/ knowledge for IT spend
Conducts periodical risk assessment and designs and manages adequate countermeasures for IT Portfolio
Defines and manages selected sustainable supplier portfolio
Selects suppliers; establishes strategic supplier relationship where appropriate and manages it accordingly
Drives and develops best practices for e-sourcing with sustainable results
Ensures cross fertilization of knowledge and best practices sharing inside the IT Category Is responsible for periodical progress measurement, accuracy of information and data, in-time delivery, audit conform documentation Proactively steers the agreement portfolio
YOUR SKILLS
MBA degree with a minimum of three years of related Purchasing experience or four-year college degree with six years of related experience.
Potential to supervise staff depending on role.
Responsible for stakeholder management, management of Information Technology Category spend, and KPIs
Key contributor to Purchasing strategy and accountable for tactical implementation
Contributes to the development of annual team objectives
Excellent Stakeholder management skills
Strong ability to drive a cross-functional team
Excellent ability to multi-task and manage and prioritize task
Experience in cross category, cross function, and/or cross material group management
Ability to leverage agile working methods and trends to drive a digital working culture
The salary for this role is $100,000.00 - $135,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Connecticut. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
